Are YOU Trusting YOUR Journey?

ree

As children, we dream big. We imagine ourselves as astronauts, professional athletes, firefighters, musicians, or even superheroes. We believe we can be anything. But somewhere along the way, we start playing it safe. We choose comfort over calling, security over passion.

But we are all created to truly live. Each of us has a purpose, a path we are meant to follow. We are all connected, and our unique journeys contribute to something greater.

Think about it: Do you want to reach the end of your life and whisper, “I wish I had…”? Or do you want to say, “I’m so glad I did”?

It doesn’t matter if you’re in your 20s or your 80s—if there’s something stirring inside you, go for it. That little voice nudging you toward a dream, a new path, a bold step? That’s the voice you need to trust.

I know this firsthand. At 36 years old, I entered the police academy, surrounded by recruits who were 20 or 21 years old—many of whom called me “Mom.” I could have let fear or doubt stop me, but I didn’t. I had a dream, and I chased it. It was something I had always wanted to do, and I am so glad that I did.

Yes, fear will show up. Doubt will creep in. But fear is only powerful if you let it stop you. The truth is, even if things don’t go as planned, at least you’ll know you tried. And that is far better than wondering, What if?

So today, I challenge you: Trust yourself. Trust your journey. Take the step.

What is the voice inside of you telling you your path is?

Are you ready?
